Why an octopus thrown on the ice for Detroit Red Wings hockey games?
Are they doing in every game for the Red Wings? Who throws the octopus?
It goes back to the fact that Detroit has been one of the first 6 teams and the time it was enough to get 8 wins court. Each tentacle octopus represents a victory over the years the octopus is now a mascot for the Red Wings.
