Any tips for getting the starting goalie position on my high school team?
I am on my high school hockey team. I am the second string goalie which really frusterates me because I think I am better, and a lot of players agree. The coach has known the other goalie for a long time and I feel like it was almost predetermined for him to start.
Is there any advice on what I could do to help me get the starting nod?
during practice do some things that may seem stupid but they make you stand out…..one of my favorites is whenever you make a glove save (you know a save with the catcher or whatever) right after you catch it, lift that hand above your head like you caught it there……again, it may seem stupid but it looks so amazing
